An industry leading company is seeking a director of multi family property management to assist this growing company with launching new property management division. This company has accomplished continual, rapid growth through integrity, proven systems and a spirit of service. Its clients count on them to assist with their project teams to keep costs down by getting it right the first time. This is a company for the future, providing services to companies that are changing the world. The ideal candidate will be highly energetic, polished, and a detail-oriented professional and must be able to manage multiple projects at once, have extensive supervisory experience including attracting, screening, and managing front-line workers in customer service and/or sales, with management of maintenance, landscaping, and/or housekeepers a plus. Must oversee and participate in lease-ups, including all sales and marketing efforts for each property. Job requires a business background with understanding and accountability to profit/loss performance metrics. Candidate must be a systems thinker with proven track record in creating start-up systems and procedures and training others how to use them. Position requires regional travel 1-2 days per week. Candidate must have ability for overnight travel and reliable transportation. Due to the sensitive nature of the information accessible in this role, extensive background, reference, and credit check will be performed, and only those candidates with impeccably clean background, stellar professional references, and an average to above-average credit will be considered for this position. Bachelors in Business, 7+ years in Property Management, Commercial Real Estate, or Multi-family Business Development/Operations and 5+ years of sales/marketing background.
