The article below…is about swimming pools at hotels—being required to be ADA compliant—as of March 15, 2012. Like hotels, apartment communities…consider swimming pools an important onsite amenity. And because this new law was passed for hotels to provide access-lifts in-and-out of their *public* swimming pools…it’s not hard to imagine that apartment communities will one day be required to provide this same kind of lift access to their *public* swimming pools, right?
Your take on the article above? Are you seeing/hearing any news about multi family apartment communities being required to provide lift access to their swimming pools? At your apartment communities today…do you currently have lift access at your pools?
